The textile industry is responsible for up to 10% of glabal greenhouse gas emissions each year. As we all become more aware of the serious environmental impact of our clothes, artwork and entertainment, sustainability is a term that's increasingly used.
If you're an individual using recycled supplies to create your product, we'd love to hear from you. We'll be selecting five individuals with promising ideas and guide them through a (free) 3-day workshop in Cape Town to educate them on climate change and refine their pitch. Contestants will then pitch their idea in front of a live panel of judges at the V&A Waterfront for a chance to win R50,000 worth of prizes! Simply follow the instructions below to enter.
